Environmental Working Group - is comprised of a team of scientists, engineers, policy experts, lawyers, etc. who examine government data, scientific studies and legal documents in conjunction with performing laboratory tests of their own to expose health threats to you and the environment.  They seek solutions and influence policy makers.  Visit their interactive websites for information from their latest investigations.  There is also an e-mail newsletter you can subscribe to as well as a downloadable Annual Report.  Truly an informative and useful website.  Additionally, they maintain the Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database which cross-references ingredients from nearly 25,000 body care products against 50 toxicity and regulatory databases and is largest integrated data resource of its kind.

Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development - is a non-profit focusing on collecting and disseminating information on all types of technology and processes used in promoting global economic, industrial, and societal sustainable development.  News, research, and detailed and technical information on Solar energy and all types of technologies which promote global, industrial, societal and economic sustainable development.  Subscription to PVNews Today is available from their website; other reports are available as well.
